This policy explains how your data is handled when you use Lift 51: Garage Tycoon (the browser test build at play.lift51.com and the mobile releases to come) and the lift51.com website. In short: we only collect what is needed to run the game, and we never sell any data.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Lift 51. For any privacy question, contact us at support@lift51.com.
2. What data do we collect?
When you play the game, the following data is processed:
- Anonymous account ID. The first time you open the game, an anonymous account is created through Supabase Auth without asking for an email or password. It is just a random identifier.
- Game save (cloud save). Your level, cash, lifts, mechanics, underground base, quest progress, settings (language, sound) and the text you enter as player and shop name.
- Gameplay analytics events. Anonymous events such as level-ups, completed quests, opening a purchase screen and session length. They are used to balance the game, find bugs and understand what is fun.
- Technical information. Browser type, device and screen information, language, app version, error logs and the IP address kept in server logs.
- Local storage. The game keeps your save and settings in your browser’s local storage (localStorage / IndexedDB). These are not cookies and are not used for ad tracking.
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, camera or microphone.
3. Why do we use the data?
- To provide the game, save your progress and let you continue across sessions
- To tune game balance live and fix bugs
- To measure how the game is played, anonymously, and improve it
- To prevent abuse and cheating and keep our systems secure
- To answer support requests
Our legal bases are performance of the contract to provide the game, our legitimate interests (security and improvement) and, where required, your consent (GDPR Art. 6 and Turkish KVKK Art. 5).
4. Who do we share data with?
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for advertising. Your data is shared only with the service providers we use to run the game (processors):
- Supabase. For anonymous authentication, the database and cloud saves.
- Hosting provider. The servers that deliver the game and this website.
Data may be disclosed to authorities when required by law. Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. In that case appropriate safeguards (such as contractual clauses) apply.
5. Mobile release: ads and in-app purchases
In the current test build, ads and purchases are mocked and need no real money. The mobile release may add advertising and in-app purchase SDKs, which can collect data such as an advertising ID and device information. When that happens we will update this policy, ask for consent where required and provide choices (for example turning off personalized ads).
6. The website (lift51.com)
This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, maps or trackers. For security and debugging, the server may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser information) for a short time.
7. Retention
Your save and anonymous account are kept until you ask us to delete them or until they have been inactive for a long time. Analytics events are deleted after the period they are needed or aggregated so they cannot be linked to a user. Server logs are deleted after a short period.
8. Your rights
Under the Turkish KVKK (Law No. 6698) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to know whether your data is processed, to access, correct and delete it, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. Send your requests to support@lift51.com. We reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey, the KVKK Board).
9. Data deletion request
Because your account is anonymous, we cannot match you to an email address. To find the right record, you need to help us:
- Send an email to support@lift51.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.
- If possible, include your anonymous player ID (if it is shown in the game’s Settings), your shop name and roughly when you played.
- Once we verify the request, we delete your anonymous account, cloud save and the analytics records linked to it within 30 days and let you know.
If you only want to remove the local data on this device, use your browser’s “clear site data” option. This does not delete the cloud save.
10. Children
The game is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you notice a child has provided data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and protected by access rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We announce important changes on this page and in the game where needed. The last update date is shown at the top.
